One of my biggest goals for 2018 is to stay positive. I am always looking at the negative when situations don’t go my way. Instead of always looking at the negatives, I really want to try and look at the positives as much as possible. I tend to be a person who has to be in control of everything. I love to have control of my life, the way my career is going, the way my routine is, etc. Ever since I became a mama, all of that changed for me. I don’t have as much control over everything and I have to learn that it’s okay. I’m really not a go with the flow kind of person and I am very much a routine kind of girl. There are times where my day doesn’t go smoothly because Blakley doesn’t feel good, or she decided she doesn’t want to take a nap, or I’m not getting the work done that I had hoped to. When situations like these happen, I am trying to focus on more of the positive and not getting down on myself because I can’t get work done, or I didn’t send a certain amount of emails out that I had hoped. The positive would be getting to spend time with Blakely. She isn’t going to be little forever and I need to cherish every minute that I do get to spend with her. Looking at the positives instead of the negatives will help me have a better attitude towards things and I feel that I can accomplish more with a positive attitude. If you are feeling down about something or something isn’t quite working out how you had hoped just remember there is always a positive side to the situation. Maybe it wasn’t meant to be, maybe you need to work harder, or simly change something. There are always ways to get the negativity out of a situation as long as you are willing to look at the positive side of things. Postive thinking can improve overall happiness.
“Having a positive mental attitude is asking how something can be done rather than saying it can’t be done.”

On another note, I found a new pair of jeans this weekend and I couldn’t wait to share them with you all. They are more of a relaxed fit denim and I love the wash for Spring. You can style them dressed down, or dressed up as I did this weekend. I am wearing a size 25 but I wish I would have gone down a size after wearing them. They are high-waisted, but a little big around my waist. I have linked all of my outfit details below. Happy Sunday, and I hope you all have an amazing week!!
